Our truck driver has start out to Tianjin port (China) again early this morning, on the truck is the products that we have manufactured for our clients, which are one set of mud cleaner, one set of submersible slurry pump and one set of shale shaker.

The destination is Tunisia, where we have developped business with a new custumer.

Mud Cleaner is the second class and the third class solid control equipment which are combined from desander , desilter and underflow screen to treat the drilling fluid . Solution for five faults of submersible slurry pump

  1. Submersible slurry pump don’t suck water

There are a number of possible reasons for non water sucking of submersible slurry pump, the main is because the suction pipe is blocked, damaged impeller and packing inlet and outlet rotation is not right. The main method to solve the three problems is cleaning blockage in suction pipe, repair or make replacement of the impeller and check packing inlet and outlet rotation.

  1. Power of the submersible slurry pump is too large

The main causes of submersible slurry pump power over large include, packing compression is excessive, internal friction of pump, bearing damage and pump rolling amount is too large. The exclusion methods for these four faults are, relax the filler gland bolts, adjusting the pump clearance, repair or replacement of damaged bearings, regulating the operation of pump.

  1. Bearing heating of submersible slurry pump

Submersible slurry pump bearing heating reason generally source in lubricating oil and bearing, including lubricating oil is not clean, lubrication oil in the bearing is too large or too small, bearing damage. Submersible slurry pump bearing life is short because pump friction, impeller imbalance, foreign body go into bearing, a bearing equipemnted with unreasonable, the motor shaft and pump shaft misalignment, shaft bending, the solution is clear internal friction of pump, adjust the balance of the impeller or replace the new impeller, clearance of bearing abnormal matter, replace bearings and re assembly, adjusting motor shaft and pump shaft concentricity, replace the middele axis.

  1. Slurry pump noise is too large

The cause of large noise of submersible slurry pump may because of damage to the bearing, impeller imbalance, suction pipe is blocked, some air enter into the suction pipe, flow is not uniform. The solution to these problems is to repair or replace the bearing, adjust the impeller balance or replace the new impeller, clean the suction pipe blockage, remove the intake of the suction pipe, improve the pump feed conditions.

Submersible slurry pump is the slurry pump that need to work under water, so it is restricted to the structure of must being placed into water, then the motor is arranged on the surface of the water and fixed to maintain the stability of the submersible slurry pump.

When the submersible slurry pump is dealing with the slurry which contain a lot of impurity particles, a filtration net is palced on the water inlet, this can reduce the impurity particles that into the pump body and reduce the probability of pump stuck, and prolong the service life of slurru pump. The using time of slurry pump should not be too long, if you have a spare pump, it is best to take turns in the form of operation work.

Part of submersible slurry pump have adopted the mechanical seal, the use of this kind of slurry pump must guarantee the supply of seal water, and forbid the anhydrous state operation to avoid the burnout of mechanical seal because of dry grinding. Generally speaking, you should connect the shaft seal water befor using the slurry pump that with mechanical seal, and maintain the water supply at least three minutes after stopping the pump.

The mechanical seal is generally used in the condition that the submersible slurry pump has the relatively high demand of sealing. When the submersible slurry pump equipped with mechanical seal has not been used for a long period of time, we should fill the N46 mechanical oil with the mechanical seal parts to prevent the seal parts from rusting and the internal rubber parts losing efficacy.

The mechanical seal has the characteristics of no leakage, low power cosumption and others. And the most important thing is that the addition of extra ingredients into the pump body is not allowed. The disadvanges of the slurry pump is that the cost is high,maintenance difficulties, etc.

Drilling fluid shale shaker power transmission line is composed of motor output power to the eccentric block vibration shaft vibrator , the quality of eccentric rotary centrifugal inertial force and generate cyclical change , forcing the support on the damping spring constant vibration sieve box , also forced drilling fluid on the surface of the screen vibrating smaller than the mesh hole back to drilling fluid solid phase particles and liquid phase , not through the screen mesh back to the discharge end of solid phase particles , so as to achieve the goal of solid liquid separation .

Desilter is designed by the theory of particle sedimentation .The separation medium-drilling fluid produces some pressure and speed when it passes the slurry pump , and flows into the hydrocyclone along the wall , the bigger solid particles along the wall of hydrocyclone sink spirally under the centrifugal force and gravity , and to be discharged from the bottom flow hole and fall on the under micromeshsieve for separation for separation .The other mediums rise along the spiral of hydrocyclone , flow into the fourth class separation equipment-centrifuge for a further cleaning treatment from the overflow hole .

The drilling fluid centrifuge is driven by two motors .The main motor drives the drum and differential shell rotation by the belt .The vice motor drives the spiral through the differential variable speed .The drum and spiral rotate together in the same direction , but at different speeds . Suspending fluids is pushed into the rotor drum through the inlet pipe and under the force of screw propeller , under the effect of centrifugal force , the solid phases will be pushed into the inside wall of the drum , pass the impeller on the screw propeller and be discharged from the exhaust hole  at the small side of the drum .The fluids is excreted from the overflow hole of the large end.So continuous circle like above to achieve the target of continuous solid -liquid separation .
