Mud cleaner is the second stage equipment of solid control system. Last week, DC machinery shipped 2 sets mud cleaner to Singapore government drilling contractor. The number of the desander and desitler cones is customized to the drilling circulation system mud flow. And our shaker unit can easily fit in with the hyrocyclones
assembly.

The mud cleaner combination consists of two sets of hydro cyclones: a desander to eliminate particles of 120 – 60 μ, and a desilter which eliminates particles smaller than 60 to 20 μ. The combination of varying physical mud cleaning principles results in a high capacity mud cleaning combination with high a operational efficiency and minimum maintenance, repair and replacement costs.

The shale shaker is often installed after the shale shakers where the sand trap drilling mud feeds into the desanders and desiters respectively, the underflow of hydrocyclones loads onto the dewatering screens for recycling the usefully drilling fluids back to the mud system. The drilled cuttings above the screens are therefore dried which lowers drilling cuttings disposal cost.

For mud gas separator, the material is rather important. Harmful gas including H2S is corrosive and poisonous. So DC Machinery produces poor boy with Q345R (HIC) plate. Such degasser are resistant to H2S compatable for such corrosive gas.

Vacuum degasser is very important for returning mud gravity, stabilizing mud viscosity and reducing drilling cost. Also, at the same time vacuum degasser can be used as a heavy-power agitator and supported applicable to all types of mud circulation purification system.

Vacuum Degasser is also called mud/Gas separator. Mud/gas separators (Degasser) is the first units of solids control equipment arranged to treat drilling mud. As such, they process all of the drilling mud from the flow line before the mud reaches the primary shale shakers. The units have no moving parts and rely on the density difference between the gas and the mud for removal. The process is simple, yet very effective for well drilling fluids processing system.

Unlike the traditional vacuum degasser, DCZCQ vacuum degasser is a self-contained unit, dc Vacuum Degasser is monitored by level sensor to protect over suction of the fluids. The gas-cut mud is drawn into the degasser by a vacuum created by a regenerative vacuum without needing centrifugal pump.

Besides above DC degasser can act as a big agitator for the drilling mud, which helps the treatment for desander and desilter.

After three years testing and research, DC Solids control announced that the latest designed second generation vertical cuttings dryer has been successfully developed and tested for drilling waste management.

Unlike the first Generation and traditional Vertical cuttings dryer, DC Solids Control has improved the Vertical cuttings dryer with a patented scraper system inside the basket screen, and a high pressure air knife system is fitted to assist in continues cleaning of the screen for the vertical cuttings dryer while working.

And this featured design cuttings dryer make it possible for water based drilling mud system cuttings drying which has significantly gives better drying performance than the linear motion shale shakers. The high torch completed Sun-Wheel Gear box unit ensures
the second generation vertical cuttings dryer to run more reliably than the gear driving system.

The VFD control system allows the vertical cuttings dryer to run at different G force and different differential speed to handle the drilling cuttings in proper conditions. The combined drilling cuttings picking up augers allow the drilling cuttings dryer to sit at a relatively lower profile and make it easier for the set up
of the feeding screw conveyor.

The specially designed drilling mud hydrocyclone units are primarily used for removal of sand-size and silt-size particles from returned drilling fluids. DC Machinery resistance polyurethane hydrocyclones are applied to the unit. The standalone desander/desilter hydrocyclone unit can be assembled above linear motion shale shaker to recycle the useful drilling fluids from hydrocyclone underflow screening by fine mesh screens.
